This week I got to taste a very desirable bourbon, Buffalo Trace,A 90 proof Straight bourbon aged up to possibly 10 years ( usually about 8)
It is made in limited quantities so it’s availability at least here in Virginia is limited. Most stores only allow you to buy one bottle at a time. By far in my opinion it is the one of the best bourbons you will find for such a reasonable price.
A light on the rye type of bourbon with more accent on the sweetness it shows it’s honey an caramel nose.
The taste brings notes of vanilla and brown sugar to me.
I get a real feel of the charred oak barrels this bourbon married with.
Definitely a bottle that you should make room for in you liquor cabinet.
